Reverse Engineering

    Product: Audio Logic Radio
    Targeted Audience: Everyone
    Feedback:

My interpretation of reverse engineering is that you can take apart a product and see what is wrong with the product. Reverse Engineering is practiced so that the manufacturer will know what to fix within a product.  Such engineering method teaches one to know what to improve once the product has been released to the public. Forward engineering requires the product to be manufactured first while waiting for customers’ feedback.  Reverse Engineering helps the company know what to fix for the customer to meet current demands.
The constraints for the project related to price and color. The innovation requires the manufacturing to be economical for the company to make a profit when selling it to the public for $99.99. Producing the innovation in several colors will allow the company to solicit the innovation to several audiences, which may guarantee a profitable return. One of the criteria is to make it useful to business women and men; to make it more efficient for them while at work. The criteria helped make the new product by making sure that it can be reformed specifically for the business men and women. The key components that were changed were the size and the plastic cd cover was made. The size was made smaller instead of it being bigger. The cd cover would be a recycled plastic so that it can be economical. The process that we practiced is reverse engineering it helped better understand it before we did the project. It also helps to know what to fix by the feedback from customers and others.
My personal opinion about the project is that you have to know what reverse engineering is and that will help you better understand the project. You have to meet the customers’ needs not just one person. The project helps meet the customers’ needs for the product. It helps fix the problem. You can easily detect the problem with a customer’s feedback.
